CHRISTMAS WITH MSGR. FLORO ARCAMO & THE SINGING PRIESTS OF SAN FRANCISCO
The Singing Priests of San Francisco are Filipino Catholic priests in the Archdiocese of San Francisco who, in 1986, formed a singing group and, with the support and encouragement of many of their friends, sang and performed concerts in many cities around the country, for a worthy cause: to raise funds for young men in the Philippines aspiring to become priests and studying at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The group, however, had to disband a couple of years later because of their commitments to their respective parishes. Singing was only their pastime gig.
This album, MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH MONSIGNOR FLORO ARCAMO & ORIGINAL SINGING PRIESTS OF SAN FRANCISCO, is a compilation of the Singing Priests' second album (Christmas Invitation) completed towards the end of 1987. This album includes other songs that were not part of that said album.
Except for a couple of songs by other priest-artists, this compilation is mostly sung by Monsignor Arcamo, with the Singing Priests of San Francisco.
Our prayer is that this album will add color and joy to your celebration of the most joyous and blessed season of the year: the birth of our Messiah and King - the Infant Jesus.
